filmed along the scenic and historic Natchez Trace Parkway. Filmed at speeds of 10 to 15 mph,
it will make the time spent on your treadmill or indoor bike "fly by."

Using either a DVD or 720P High Def Download, you could be instantly traveling at 10 to 15 miles per hour
along one of the most scenic and historic parkways in the United States.

The entire video was filmed on the Natchez Trace Parkway beginning at its northern terminus just south
of Nashville, Tennessee and ending 442 miles later outside of Natchez, Mississippi.

Filmed in High Definition* and Widescreen, you'll be amazed at the colorful early fall scenery.
Accompanied by the sounds of nature recorded in Dolby Stereo,
you'll feel just as if you were actually there jogging or on your bike.

As you travel south along the parkway, you'll see the autumn colors slowly disappear
as you get further into Mississippi.

This is not a traditional travel video.
The television camera is constantly moving you forward, transporting the viewer
through the most scenic areas of the south.

The 60 minute virtual bike ride is accompanied by the natural sounds
just as they were recorded in Dolby Stereo along the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway.

And this video is so rich in details
that you will notice something new every time you view it.

A Description of the Virtual Bike Ride on this Video.

The Natchez Trace Parkway Virtual Jog & Bike Ride Video begins at the northern entrance
of the parkway just outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

As you head southward, you note the trees as they begin to change to their Autumn colors.

Crossing a long bridge, the trees beyond show strong coloration.

The Natchez Trace Parkway commemorates the historic Old Natchez Trace which was a migratory route
of American Bison and other game that moved between grazing the pastures of central and
western Mississippi and the salt and other mineral surface deposits of the Cumberland Plateau.

Native Americans, following the "traces" of bison and other game, further improved this "walking trail"
for foot-borne commerce between major villages located in middle Mississippi and central Tennessee.

By the time of European exploration and settlement, the route had become well known and
established as the fastest means of travel between the Cumberland Plateau, the Mississippi River,
and the Gulf of Mexico settlements of Pensacola, Mobile, and New Orleans.

Construction of the Natchez Trace Parkway began in 1939 by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Further south, the parkway parallels the shore of the Ross R. Barnett Reservoir.

The parkway swings away from the reservoir for a few miles and enters a lush green forest...

before giving the viewer tantalizing glimpses of the expansive lake.

Next, the parkway follows the shore of the 33,000-acre lake for a number of miles.

As we pass a sign noting the end of the Parkway, we pass over one last scenic bridge...

and we turn to view the southern entrance to the Natchez Trace Parkway.

And remember, this DVD or HD Download makes a unique gift for family and friends!
